Background

The BRIDGE project (2018 – 2023) brings together the experience of Wageningen University and Research (WUR) and SNV to contribute to the development of an inclusive dairy sector in Ethiopia, which produces accessible, affordable, quality, nutritious, and safe dairy products.

CORE-Africa aims to strengthen responses to the COVID-19 situation of nine DGIS-funded projects across Africa, and to capture lessons for interventions and policies more broadly. Launched on 1 July 2020, and through the nine lead projects, CORE focuses on nutritious food value chains including horticulture, dairy, oilseeds, pulses and livestock. As part of this initiative, SNV teamed up with Yoba4Life under BRIDGE to work on a product (probiotic yoghurt) that is a relevant and nutritious product proposition to Bop consumers. Yoba4Life educates processors and milk shop owners on product characteristics and nutritional value, to inform clients.

Deliverables

  • Recorded audio message that explains Probiotic benefits, and provides awareness about health reasons for choosing safe dairy products – script development and production
  • Design and Execute Awareness activation campaign
  • Print production for Flyers, Posters, outlet branding, roll-up banners, teardrop
  • Print benefits info on the product package (small plastic cups)
  • Printing of t-shirts

AGENCY QUALIFICATIONS 

·       Capability in productive promotional and visibility trade marketing activities.

·       Experience in consumers’ testing

·       Experience in Script development and production for audio.
